Join South Jersey Doula Alliance for a powerful Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW) event, where we honor the legacy of Black birth workers and highlight the changemakers shaping maternal health in our community today.

This virtual event is free and open to all. Non-members are invited to make a voluntary donation.

Evana and Dania

Presented by: Evana Cooper and Dania Daniels

Evana Cooper is a proud South Jersey resident and devoted mother of four with over 15 years of experience in birthwork and education. As a certified monitrice, labor and postpartum doula, and childbirth educator, Evana has supported over 300 families, advocating for their needs at every stage. Evana currently serves as the Doula Liaison at all three Virtua Hospital campuses, where she fosters collaboration between hospital staff and doulas.

Dania the Doula Daniels is a Full Spectrum certified birth & postpartum doula trained through CAPPA and ProDoula. Dania is a childbirth and hypnobirth educator, placenta encapsulator, rebozo wrap trainer, Doula Coach and Mentor, as well as many other things. She truly understands her assignment as a Doula/birthworker!
