Mallori Cain

Treasurer & Director OF Memberships

Mallori, a Southern girl at heart, has grown to love Philadelphia as her second home. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work in a capacity that serves and supports women, children, and families. She is passionate about helping others recognize their own strength and power and encourages them to reach their potential. Mallori studied child and family development at the University of Georgia and social work at the University of Pennsylvania and is the founder of Thrive Birth & Maternal Support, LLC.

Her career began in the hospital setting, where she volunteered on the labor and delivery unit, providing new parents with information about child development and basic baby care. After working as a social worker, Mallori managed a pregnancy services program at a nonprofit in Nashville, TN. It was during this time that she discovered the role of doulas and her passion for supporting pregnant women, their partners, and babies. Mallori pursued her Maternal Support Practitioner training and certification through Bebo Mia, Inc., and she integrates her experience in advocacy, empowerment, social justice, evidence-based practices, and mental health into her work as a doula.

She specializes in providing education and screening for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, supporting unmedicated/physiologic births, and helping partners prepare to support during labor. Mallori is also a trained Hypnobabies® Hypno-Doula and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, excited to provide education to families throughout the perinatal period.
